As soon as guests arrive at Hawkswood House and The Roundel they know they are somewhere special from the great care and attention to detail by the Owners in the design of such as lovely property. We offer 5 luxury en-suite bedrooms with the flexibility of being double or twin accommodation. Hawkswood House has two glorious reception rooms with log burners, a conservatory with dining facilities and French windows lead out to the summer terrace. On the first floor the terraced balcony provides the perfect setting for breakfast or evening drinks in the warmer months. The Roundel has also two reception rooms one feature room being the Roundel room itself which can accommodate dining for larger parties. Both properties come with top of the range kitchens for parties who wish to self-cater or our team will arrange for all staffing requirements to a private Chef catering for breakfast and dinner.

At Hawkswood House we cater for the golfer. So, in order to improve your short game skills, before visiting one of the great golf courses in nearby St Andrews, we have built your very own Short Game Area in our grounds.
Our Short Game Area was designed and built by a golf professional, to provide the perfect practice area for honing your short game. The course has 4 pitching mats, 6 holes and two bunkers, providing a wide range of lies and distances. This offers the opportunity to practice a variety of shots. In May 2017 we opened our second short game golf area which is private to The Roundel so both houses now have their own golf area. At the end of May 2017 we were delighted to launch the opening of our 225 yard driving range which is also unique and private for our guests – Where else would you get such private facilities for golfers.

Unwind in our Hydro Spa, with room for all. It offers 43 state-of-the-art jets that relieve-tension in targeted areas including your back, neck, shoulders and calves by cascading up and down your back, a perfect way to relax and unwind. Enjoy dining al fresco with our impressive Mediterranean barbecue and outdoor patio area. Perfect for entertaining or simply relaxing with friends and family. If you wish to dine out, the renowned restaurant the Peat Inn is a short distance, and St Andrews offers a wide choice of both fine and casual dining. A chef can be arranged in advance if you wish to dine in the house or an advanced food shopping service is available.

One complimentary return luxury transport per day excluding the festive period. Our 16 seater or 8 seater vehicles are available to guests requiring transfers to and from your golfing / social tour destination should the party split within the St Andrews / East Neuk area. This is complimentary for stays of three nights or more and must be booked in advance, any additional social runs are chargeable. The daily complimentary transport hours are between 08.00 and 20.00 hours seven days a week. The management cannot guarantee any specific transfer times during busy periods. Please note the complimentary transfer is per party and not per house when renting both properties.
